Marc is a 38 year old, Manchester based Welshman!

He started cycling after a bad back injury in 2011. Until then he had been progressing well as a fell and road runner, but the injuries kept coming his way. Cycling gave him an alternative way of keeping fit and active (and injury free!). Fast forward 7 years and he have been racing for two seasons. His specialty is flat crit and road races. He is also a member of Bury Clarion, a local cycling club with a rich heritage in road racing.

His 2018 season was hugely successful as a crit racer. Marc progressed to a cat 2 racer many months ahead of schedule, and he states that his initial experience at this higher level of racing was a real eye opener and he knew to get the most out of myself I needed some guidance.

Marc started working with a coach towards the end of 2018 (Mark Halloway - Transition Cycle Coaching). With his guidance and support his 2019 race season is looking to be his best yet. This year you will find him opening his season at the Eddie Soens RR. Following this he will be racing weekly at local crits (mainly the Stephen Burke circuit in Colne) and regional RR's before targeting the Welsh National Championships in August.

As well as being a brand ambassador for CES-Sport he is also a Brand Ambassador for Lusso Bike cycle clothing who are Manchester based. Both partnerships are sure to enhance his 2019 season.
